Joseph James Hagerty was born in Fremont Ohio in 1929. Joe’s interest in Art began before he entered grade school and has continued throughout his life. Joe and his wife. Pamela, live in Port Clinton, Ohio. His studio is located in the Sandusky Bay marsh land surrounded by wildlife.

His love for the Old Wild West has inspired him in his paintings of Native Americans and the southwest. Joe’s reputation as a sportsman and storyteller has given him his basis for his humorous sports scenes.
